Residence

Hillel House is a great place to hang out in, meet fellow students and maybe even grab a bite. But you can live here too! Located seconds from the McGill campus and minutes from Concordia in a beautiful newly renovated Victorian building, it beats any other residence on campus in all respects! The Anne G. Bailey Residence, a co-ed dormitory, located in the Hillel House offers an attractive alternative to university dormitories.

The Anne G. Bailey Hillel Residence

Montreal's Hillel is located in a quaint, three story house on Stanley Street. The size of the house affords Hillel the opportunity of offering a residence
for Jewish students. This year will represent the 11th year in which such a service will be offered.
What the Hillel House has to Offer
During the day and very often in the evening the Hillel House is a hub for student activities. Here are a few of the things we have to offer:

  • Fully furnished rooms.
  • A fully kosher, 5 day a week meal plan. (see meal plan below)
  • Eight month lease, $600/month (based on double occupancy)
  • A/C in all dormitory rooms
  • WIFI access throughout the building.
  • A great chance to participate in Hillel's social activities.

The residence, officially named the Anne G. Bailey Student Residence, consists of five rooms on the third floor of the Hillel house. The rooms are fully furnished, and the situation of the rooms in the Hillel house allows the students both the privacy of a residence and the opportunity to be invovled with Hillel's many activities. The third floor is also equipped with a dairy kitchenette, laundry facilities and residents have access to a lounge with a large screen TV and cable.
